From Pigeon Park to our present location on Wall Street with Columbia Street station in between and in the future when we return to the Downtown Eastside in 2016 -- from everywhere it has broadcast, Vancouver Co-op Radio has brought local and live music and words to its listeners. The tracks on this compilation come from reel to reel tapes recorded at local clubs in the 70s, mp3s of in-studio readings and performances from this past year, and every time and technology in between. It includes artists who are no longer with us, some who have still flourishing careers, and some who are just getting started. It is a sampler of what makes Co-op Radio unique and why we are so proud to celebrate 40 years of resilience by sharing these voices with you, just as we do every day on the airwaves. Enjoy!
